Site URL:		Please enter the URL of your home page, or page you want to include in the sitemap here.
Strip session id		You need to remove session IDs from pages? Including session IDs in URLs may result in incomplete crawling of your site.
Last modified:		The date of last modification of the file. This date should be in YYYY-MM-DD format.
Change frequency:		How frequently the page is likely to change.
Priority		The priority of this URL relative to other URL's on your site. Valid values range from 0.0 to 1.0. The default priority of a page is 0.5. Search engines use this information when selecting between URL's on the same site

Where do I place my Sitemap?

Your sitemap should be uploaded to the root directory of your website.

How big can my Sitemap be?

Sitemaps should be no larger than 10MB and can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs.

What do I do after I create my sitemap?

Once you have created the sitemap and uploaded it, you can submit it to search engines that support the sitemaps protocol. You can submit your sitemap manually to Google, by creating an account at www.google.com/webmasters.

Will the "priority" hint in the XML Sitemap change the ranking of my pages in search results?

The "priority" hint in your sitemap only indicates the importance of a particular URL relative to other URLs on your own site and does not imply any effect on the ranking of your pages in search results.
